PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load applied to a side skeleton of a seat back when using an armrest. SOLUTION: The armrest 4 is mounted on a bracket 10 joined to a side frame 1A (the side skeleton) of the seat back, and the side frame 1A is connected in its lower part to a side frame 2A of a seat cushion via a reclining device 3. The side frame 1A is formed with a stopper part 13 for locking rotary motion of the seat back by abutment on the side frame 2A of the seat cushion, and the stopper part 13 is arranged in a low position of the side frame 1A. The bracket 10 includes a connecting part 11 for connecting the armrest 4 in an optimal height position suitable for use as the armrest and an extension part 12 for extending a shape toward the lower side from the connecting part 11.
