<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for monitoring and controlling a forming process of a glass container. <P>SOLUTION: Emission emitted by each high-temperature glass container is measured with a measuring device existing closely behind a molding machine. The disclosed method enables measured values between glass containers to be normalized, thereby eliminating the influence of variation of total temperature between glass containers for changing ambient conditions as well as other variations influencing measurement for giving specific quality standard per each glass container.
