<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print device that can transport an item to be transported such as a recording medium at high accuracy, a transport unit, a transport roller, and a method of producing the transport roller. <P>SOLUTION: The print device includes the transport roller 13 for transporting the recording medium in which a pair of end surfaces 34 and 35 of a metallic plate faces each other and are formed into a cylindrical shape, wherein at least one end surface 34 of the pair of end surfaces 34 and 35 includes a first portion 34a which comes into plane contact with the other end surface 35 of the pair of end surfaces 34 and 35 at an outer periphery surface 31a side of the transport roller 13, and a second portion 34b which has a gap 37 between the other end surface 35 and itself at an inner periphery surface 31b side thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
