Provided is a method for producing decorated molded articles that is capable of simultaneously imparting a pattern of projections and recesses, which are formed by transferring the projecting and recessed shapes from the surface of a shape imparter, while also imparting a metallic lustre, color or a printed design, etc., to the resin being molded with high productivity. Also provided are a decorated molded article produced by the production process, and a laminate for use in the production process. The disclosed method for producing decorated molded articles having a designed layer laminated on a molded resin involves a laminate prepared by partially bonding a transfer material, which is obtained by forming the designed layer on one surface of a plastic film, and a sheet-shaped shape imparter, which has projections and depressions on at least one surface thereof, in a manner such that the other surface of the plastic film contacts the projecting-and-recessed surface of the shape imparter.
