<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reader suitably focusing reflection light from a two-dimensional code having two data areas different in cell sizes on a light reception means through a condenser lens. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information reader, when a first data area 61 of the QR code 50 is decoded based on image data generated in a state that the QR code 50 is included and when information related to a size of the QR code 50 is acquired, a distance X to the QR code 50 is measured based on the size of the QR code 50 and a code area where the QR code 50 occupies the image data. A second data area 62 of the QR code 50 is decoded based on image data generated according to a light reception result from a light reception sensor 28 having received the reflection light of the QR code 50 in a state that the image forming lens 27 is moved so that focusing is performed according to the distance X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
