PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transaction without a waiting time in an automatic transaction device 1 desired by a customer, in a power control system for the automatic transaction devices 1 each including a power saving standby state. SOLUTION: This power control system includes: the plurality of automatic transaction devices 1 each including a main power supply 27a, and performing a plurality of kinds of transactions; and a stand-by power supply unit 10 holding information about a suppliable power capacity, the power consumption information of each transaction kind of the automatic transaction devices 1, and supplying stand-by power to the automatic transaction devices 1. When the total power consumption of the plurality of automatic transaction devices 1 exceeds a power capacity of the stand-by power supply unit 10 based on information about the transaction to be started, the power capacity information and the power consumption information, the main power supply of the automatic transaction device 1 starting the transaction is turned on.
