PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having excellent maintenance performance and excellent decorativeness and visibility on a side surface of the tire by providing a side protector having replaceable/repairable decorative bodies, even when the pneumatic tire is externally damaged from the side surface side of the pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, the side protector 2 extending continuously in a tire peripheral direction is disposed in at least one of surfaces of a pair of side wall parts 1. The side protector 2 includes projection parts 3 extending intermittently along the tire peripheral direction and decorative bodies 4 mounted in mounting holes 31 formed in the projection parts 3 to be intermittently exposed along the tire peripheral direction between the decorative bodies 4 and the projection parts 3.
