PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipole plug which improves the EMI characteristics of multipole connectors because the seams of both shells are coincident when the multipole plug is coupled to the corresponding mating connector and there is a possibility that a high frequency noise may leak from the gap between the coincident seams. SOLUTION: A shell 9 having the shape of a tube for covering around a coupling portion 6 to a mating connector 4 is formed by bending a metal plate, and in a multipole plug 2 where the shell 9 having a shielding property has a seam 9a, the seam 9a is placed at the position which is inclined toward one side from the central line 2a of the shell 9 so that the seams 9a, 17a of the shells 9, 17 are shifted each other when the multipole plug 2 is coupled to the mating connector 4.
