PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module that can be easily aligned even with the module downsized. SOLUTION: The optical module 1 includes a first optical element 16-1, a first lens 18-1, a second lens 18-2, a second optical element 16-2, and a parallel plate 20, wherein the first lens 18-1 is arranged shifting from a position which is the focal length of the first lens 18-1 away from a position where projection light is emitted, and the second lens 18-2 is arranged shifting from a position which is the focal length of the second lens 18-2 away from a position where projection light is to be optically coupled, wherein the shift of the position where the first lens 18-1 is arranged from the position which is the focal length of the first lens 18-1 away from the position where the projection light is emitted corresponds to the shift of the position where the second lens 18-2 is arranged from the position which is the focal length of the second lens 18-2 away from the position where the projection light should be optically coupled.
