<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular communication control system, an on-vehicle device, and a portable machine capable of easily establishing a suitable communication environment between the portable machine and the on-vehicle device. <P>SOLUTION: A portable machine 10 has a communication control unit 11 which detects the reception level of the request signal when receiving the request signal to be transmitted from an on-vehicle device 20 and transmits the ID code signal including the reception level code to indicate the reception level. The on-vehicle device 20 has a vehicle control unit 21, and the vehicle control unit 21 compares the reception level to be indicated by the reception level code with the preset in-cabin boundary threshold and out-of-vehicle boundary threshold when receiving the ID code signal. As a result, the vehicle control unit 21 is in an engine start permissible state when it is determined that the reception level is higher than the in-cabin boundary threshold, or automatically unlocks the door lock when it is determined that the reception level is higher than the out-of-vehicle boundary threshold, and not higher than the in-cabin boundary threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
