The claw (1) has tightening clips (4) that are mobile in rotation between an opening position and a closing position. The clips are provided with upper tightening jaws (43) supported against an upper annular face of a flange (25) of a nut (22) and lower tightening jaws (44). The lower jaws are supported against a lower face (27) of a driving head (20) during disassembling function so that the claw holds the flange and the head between the upper and lower jaws to unscrew the nut and to withdraw the nut and the head outside a driving shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for disassembling a windscreen wiper arm from a motor vehicle.
