摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display with a scanner is provided to improve display quality by improving an aperture ratio while being operated by one of a scanner mode or a display mode. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display with a scanner comprises a first substrate including a first transistor which is placed on the intersection area of a gate line and a data line, a second substrate including a black matrix layer(221) and a light sensing array(230), and a liquid crystal layer(400) which is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The black matrix layer is placed on the rear part of the first support substrate coping with the pixel area.
