PURPOSE: An open type IPT channel service supplying system and method thereof are provided to supply a quality service to a user and to reduce IPTV service cost through an IPTV service system. CONSTITUTION: A channel service advertisement unit(110) supplies advertisement information about a registered channel service to a channel service client terminal. A channel service subscriber management unit(120) processes the subscription request of the channel service client terminal about the special channel service. A channel service bundle management unit(130) transmits a channel service bundle to the channel service client terminal. A multicast channel control unit(140) allocates a multicast channel to a channel service providing unit.
