FIELD: personal use articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optical depilatory device, which carries out depilation by means of skin irradiation with light. The invention objective is to develop a depilatory device, which may reliably prevent light penetration. The optical depilatory device is used to do depilation by means of skin irradiation with light. The device comprises the following: a unit of light source; a window for irradiation with light; and a device body, which radiates light from the light source unit via the window for light irradiation. The device also comprises a light-screening part, arranged so that it surrounds the window for the device body irradiation with light; and a support part, which supports the light-screening part so that it makes it possible to move the light-screening part in direction of the light irradiation relative to the device body. The support part has a receiving portion, which is arranged on the device body, a convex portion, provided at the light-screening part, and a spring element arranged between the receiving portion and the convex portion. The optical depilatory device also comprises a switch, which is a radiation switch. The above-specified switch is located so that the radiation switch is in the operational window, when the value of the light-screening part pushing against the device body is equal or more than the specified value. ^ EFFECT: development of a depilatory device, which performs depilation with high safety. ^ 6 cl, 7 dwg |
