PURPOSE: A liquefied natural gas container is provided to minimize use of metal having low-temperature characteristic to thereby reduce the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A liquefied natural gas container(50) comprises an inner shell(51), an outer shell(52), and an insulation layer(53). The inner shell is formed of metal enduring low temperature. Liquefied natural gas is stored in the inner shell. A space is formed between the outer shell and the inner shell. The outer shell is formed from steel for enduring inner pressure. The insulation layer is arranged in the space between the outer shell and the inner shell. The insulation layer reduces heat transfer.
