<p>The safety device (1) has a loop (26) that is detachably connected with clamp and a releasing unit (3) for opening a loop. A cord (6) is mounted at a front or back line of the kite. A guiding element (30) is connected with the cord or leash. The guiding element is guided along the loop such that, it is released by opening a releasing unit of the loop. The guiding element is a ring, by which the cord and the leash are connected. An independent claim is also included for a kite with two front lines.</p>
