PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the recording quality between recording mediums uniform while suppressing an increase in viscosity of a liquid in a discharge port without uselessly consuming the recording medium. SOLUTION: A conveyance unit continuously conveys a sheet P of the continuous printing number of sheets. A head control unit controls discharge of an ink droplet from an inkjet head so that an image dot according to an image needed to be printed and a flushing dot corresponding to a flushing dot candidate in a position, where the image dot is not formed among flushing dot candidates according to flushing patterns F4a to F4e contained in a flushing pattern group F4 determined based on the continuous printing number of sheets, are formed to each sheet P, whenever the sheet P is conveyed.
