<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate loss cost wasted for a yield drop caused in each process in a production line in which the amount of material resources is gradually reduced according to advance of processes. <P>SOLUTION: On the basis of previously given production information, passage process information and cost information (S1), a reduction amount (loss amount in each process) in the amount of material resources before and after processing is calculated as a yield drop (S3) and registered as a loss appeal amount in all upper processes including the process concerned (S4). On the basis of a processing unit price of each piece of equipment, the product of the loss appeal amount and the processing unit price is calculated in each process (S5), and the product (material loss cost) of an individual process loss amount of each process and the material unit price is registered (S6). The loss appeal cost and the material loss cost are referred to and totalized in each product to calculate the loss cost of each product (S7). The loss appeal cost and the material loss cost are referred to and totalized in each piece of equipment to calculate loss cost of each piece of equipment (S9).
