<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a projecting member which, independently of new construction and existing construction, can be applied to a variety of a vertically roofed (vertically laid) external facing structure constructed on a roof of buildings and can be provided, for example, with a solar battery system and a greening structure, and to provide a mounting structure of an outside member and a repair structure. <P>SOLUTION: The installation structure of a projecting member comprises a roof surface 2 comprising mountain parts 21 and valley parts 22 that are continued to each other. A projecting member 1 comprising a lower metal fixture 1A and an upper metal fixture 1B is installed on the roof surface 2. The lower metal fixture 1A comprises leg parts 11, 11 provided along an inclined surface constituting the mountain part 21 and connection receiving parts 13, 13 located on the outside of the lower end of the leg parts 11, 11. The upper metal fixture 1B comprises covering parts 15, 15 covering the leg parts 11, 11 and connecting parts 16, 16 extended from the covering parts 15, 15 outward. The leg parts 11, 11 of the lower metal fixture 1A are provided along the mountain part 21 of the roof surface, and, in this state, they are fixed with a fixture 1d.
