Disclosed are: DNA comprising antisense DNA which is composed of up to 30 nucleotides and comprises the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2 and sense DNA which can be paired with the antisense DNA, said antisense DNA and said sense DNA being connected with each other by linker DNA; shRNA or siRNA expressed from the DNA; a vector comprising the DNA; and a capsule or liposome in which the DNA, shRNA, siRNA or vector is encapsulated. The DNA, shRNA, siRNA, vector, capsule and liposome can suppress myocardial infarction and have a life-prolonging effect on cardiac myocytes when myocardial infarction has occurred. By using the DNA, shRNA, siRNA, vector, capsule or liposome in combination with erythropoietin, the above-described effects can be further enhanced.
