METHOD FOR PRODUCING RIGID HETEROCYCLIC POLYMER FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rigid heterocyclic polymer fiber improved with fibrous physical properties and spinning stability. SOLUTION: This method for producing the rigid heterocyclic polymer fiber is characterized by satisfying the following conditions (1) to (3): (1) a dope is extruded from a spinneret installed at a spinneret holder controlled in the temperature range from 150 to 250°C; (2) the air gap length from a spinneret outlet to a coagulation bath is≥1.0 cm; and (3) the spinning is performed at the air gap part by keeping only the range from a spinneret outlet surface to 3.5 cm in its lower direction warmly at 30 to 250°C, or in the case that the air gap length is <3.5 cm, keeping the whole of the air gap part warmly at 30 to 250°C.
