<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a mechanical pencil unit of a composite writing utensil is formed in such a way that a lead tank and a mechanical pencil body can be folded at a joint part serving as a supporting point, and therefore, that even after folding the mechanical pencil body and the lead tank once, these are structured to be freely folded in the direction of 360° using the joint part as a supporting point, and consequently when the mechanical pencil unit is arranged in the barrel, the assembling work becomes difficult, and even after assembling them, the mechanical pencil unit tends to be unsteady and stagger inside the barrel. <P>SOLUTION: This writing utensil incorporates a plurality of writing elements including at least the mechanical pencil unit, arranged inside the barrel body in forward/backward moving fashion. Further, the writing utensil has such a design that the forward end of a slider is connected with the rear end of the writing element, and the slider is installed in a slide groove formed inside the barrel body, in freely forward/backward moving manner. In addition, the writing utensil features that at least, the mechanical pencil unit is connected with the slider in the way that the mechanical pencil unit can be locked so as not to allow its rotation to the slider, and also, the unit is bent in the center axial direction of the barrel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
