A rotary hammer has a rotary drive member 319 with a hexagonal bore and a nose 320 with a circular bore, an adapter 345 with a hexagonal bore being clipped on the nose to prevent rotation of the tool 330. The adapter is prevented from rotating by pins 349 engaging holes in the nose, and is held on the nose by springs 356. The tool is secured to the hammer by a pivoted wire retainer 337. |
