<p>A slider for a slide fastener, configured in such a manner that, even if a pull tab mounting column is subjected to torsion in the widthwise direction thereof, the free end of the pull tab mounting column of the slider does not come out of an upper wing plate. A slider (10) for a slide fastener is provided with a pull tab mounting column (21) which extends in the sliding direction of a body (11) and which is configured so that a pull tab (40) is mounted thereto. The pull tab mounting column (21) is provided with a first end section (22) which is affixed integrally to an upper wing plate (12), and also with a second end section (23) which has formed thereon a second engagement section (24) engaged with a first engagement section (31) formed in the upper wing plate (12). The first engagement section (31) is provided with a pair of inner wall surfaces (33) facing each other in the widthwise direction of the slider (10). The second engagement section (24) is provided with a pair of outer surfaces (26) respectively facing the pair of inner wall surfaces (33) of the first engagement section (31). The pair of inner wall surfaces (33) of the first engagement section (31) tilt outward in the widthwise direction of the body (11) toward a lower wing plate (13).</p> |
