<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-pathogenic microorganism agent having excellent anti-pathogenic microbial activity such as anti-viral activity and anti-fungal activity, high in safety, producible at low cost, and having fast dryability, sustainability and dispersion stability, and easy to use with good sense of use; and a filter and a mask carrying the anti-pathogenic microorganism agent. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-pathogenic microorganism agent contains at least a sialic acid-containing glycoprotein in which sialic acid is bonded to a glycoprotein and a lower alcohol, where the content of sialic acid analyzed by hydrolyzing the sialic acid-containing glycoprotein is at least 0.001 mass% and the content of the lower alcohol is at least 5 mass%.
