<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member, from which a tough molded article achieving a sufficient high molecular weight is produced, the molded article having an excellent surface smoothness, a dimensional stability, a chemical resistance and a hydrolysis resistance compared with a molded article of nylon-6 or the like, and also having a wide moldable temperature range and superior melt-molding property than a material using a single 1,9-nonane diamine as a diamine component. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic member includes: a polyamide resin; and a layered silicate dispersed in the polyamide, in which a conductivity imparting agent is compounded. The polyamide resin comprises a discarboxylic acid component comprising oxalic acid, and a diamine component comprising 1,9-nonane diamine and 2-methyl-1,8-octane diamine, in which the molar ratio of the 1,9-nonane diamine to 2-methyl-1,8-octane diamine ranges from 1:99 to 99:1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
