PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an vending machine for stabilizing a merchandise temperature throughout the year by changing the target temperature of merchandise according to an outside air temperature. SOLUTION: The vending machine includes: a cooling means for cooling the internal atmosphere of a merchandise storage cabinet 3 for storing merchandise to be cooled, to a preset cooling target temperature; and a heating means for heating the internal atmosphere of the merchandise storage cabinet 3 for storing merchandise to be heated, to a predetermined heating target temperature. The vending machine includes a control part 30 for, when the detected outside air temperature is higher than a reference temperature, setting the cooling target temperature and the heating target temperature to be low, and for, when the detected outside air temperature is lower than the reference temperature, setting the cooling target temperature and the heating target temperature to be high.
