PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiprocessor system and a multiprocessor control method for improving performance in inter-processor interrupt. SOLUTION: A multiprocessor system 1 is provided with: a memory 13 storing a program; an address notification register 16; a first processor; and a second processor. When the second processor is notified of an interrupt request to cause the second processor to execute a program, the first processor stores address information showing an address to start execution of the program in the address notification register 16, and the second processor obtains the interrupt request notified by the first processor and the address information stored in the address notification register 16, and starts execution of the program from the address shown by the obtained address information.
