PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an ultrasonic motor for pseudo load for battery check of a camera device. SOLUTION: A motor control circuit of the camera device includes a battery check function of detecting output current of a battery 200 with the ultrasonic motor 100 as the pseudo load. In a state where a lens barrel 3 is at an advance limit position or a retreat limit position, a driving signal is supplied to the ultrasonic motor 100, and current outputted from the battery 200 at such a time is detected.
