PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset-amount confirmation instrument which can simply and speedily confirm an amount of offset on a set of rotors adjusting a stretching position of an annular transmission member by matching a distance between reference planes along a rotating shaft direction with an amount of predetermined offset. SOLUTION: The offset-amount confirmation instrument 10 for confirming the amount of the offset on a set of pulleys 30, 31 adjusting the stretching position of a V belt 32 by matching a distance between a variable reference plane 33 and a fixed reference plane 34 along the rotating shaft direction with the amount of the predetermined offset includes a basic shaft 11 having a plane can being brought into contact with the variable reference plane 33 on one end side, a probe 12 having an edge plane 14 can being brought into contact with the fixed reference plane 34 by extending only the amount of the offset predetermined in a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the basic shaft 11, and a support part 13 for slidably mounting the probe 12 to the basic shaft 11.
