PURPOSE: A method for producing a large amount of plants redifferentiated from Calanthe discolor is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a plant redifferentated from Calanthe discolor comprises: a step of sterilizing young Calanthe discolor; a step of culturing the young Calanthe discolor in a 1/3 MS medium; a step of cutting leaves of Calanthe discolor; a step of culturing the leaf pieces of Calanthe discolor in 1/2 MS medium containing sucrose, activated charcoal, indole-3-butyric acid, and naphthalene acetic acid; a step of culturing Calanthe discolor to induce adventitious buds; and a step of culturing the adventitious buds in 1/2 medium containing sucrose and gibberellic acid(GA3) to induce and proliferate multiple shoots.
