ROOT TISSUE-SPECIFIC PROMOTER SLWRKY FROM SOLANUM LYCOPERSICUM AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: A SIWRKY protein which is specifically expressed in Solanum lycopersicum root is provided to reduce salt positive and to quickly develop industrially useful characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A SlWRKY(Solanum lycopersicum WRKY transcription factor) protein which is specifically expressed in roots contains an amino acid of sequence number 2. A gene encoding the SIWRKY protein contains a base sequence of sequence number 1. A promoter of SIWRKY gene which introduces root-specific expression contains a base of sequence number 3. A method for expressing a foreign gene in a transgenic plant comprises: a step of performing recombination of the foreign gene to a recombinant vector containing the protein; and a step of transforming the recombinant vector to a plant.
