ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC VARIABLE VALVE LIFT APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An electro-hydraulic VVL(Variable Valve Lift) device is provided to reduce the impact when opening a valve through a stepped portion and a bypass channel. CONSTITUTION: An electro-hydraulic VVL device comprises a VVL housing(20), a master piston(30), a slave piston(50), and an oil control unit. The master piston is installed and slid in the VVL housing and contacts a cam(10). The slave piston is installed and slid in the VVL housing and forms an oil chamber with the master piston. The slave piston opens and closes a valve(100) according to the reciprocating motion of the master piston. The oil control unit supplies/discharges oil to/from the oil chamber.
