Preparing a crystallized solid metallophosphate having AFI structure type comprises: (i) mixing, in the presence of at least one ionic liquid comprising a salt of 1-butyl-2-methylpyridinium, at least one source of phosphate anions, at least one source of at least one trivalent element G and at least one source of fluoride anions; and (ii) ionothermal treatment of the obtained mixture until the solid structure of type AFI forms.
