PURPOSE: A power generating device for LNG fuel tank and method for measuring fuel exhausting amount using the same are provided to prevent damage to an engine by preventing the supply of LNG fuel of which properties are corrupted by weathering. CONSTITUTION: A power generating device for LNG fuel tank comprises an LNG fuel tank, a turbine(200), a generator(300), a battery(400), a LCU(Look ahead Carry Unit, 500), an ECU(Electronic Control Unit, 600), and a display unit(700). The LNG fuel tank comprises first and second BOG(Boil of Gas) exhaust ports(101,102) and first and second relief valves(103,104). The turbine is operated with the fuel which is exhausted in the atmosphere after vaporized within the LNG fuel tank. The battery is charged with electrical energy that the generator produces. The LCU detects the fuel exhausting amount by comparing a cumulative opening time and a pre-set limit cumulative time. The ECU compares the output value of LCU to pre-set weathering limit condition data. The display unit displays the weathered limitation of the LNG fuel tank according to a control signal of ECU.
