BATTERY ASSEMBLY MECHANISM FOR FOLDABLE ELECTRIC BICYCLE

A battery assembly mechanism is applicable to a foldable electric bicycle. A folder (7) fixed to a crossbeam (10) divides the crossbeam (10) into two sections, i.e. a front section and a rear section. A battery (2) is arranged in a hollow crossbeam of the front section. A controller (11) is arranged in a hollow crossbeam of the rear section. The battery (2) and the controller (11) are electrically connected. The folder (7) is a hollow folder in which the edges of the folding surfaces are in concave-convex match. The battery (2) is mounted in a battery box (8), and then arranged in the hollow crossbeam of the front section where a protection sleeve for the battery box (8) is disposed. A battery box contact (6) and a controller contact are electrically connected after passing through the folder (7). A protection ring is arranged in the inner race of the folder (7) and is provided with 4-8 cylindrical protection pins (14) protruding symmetrically. The contact surfaces between the protection ring and the inner race of the folder (7) are toothed. The top portion of the protection pin (14) is spherical. The battery assembly mechanism is convenient to place and take out the battery, and free to fold without consideration of cable damage. Furthermore, a spring clasp ring can also be used as a handle for the battery so that the battery is convenient to take out and carry.
