<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encode parameter setting support device and an encode parameter setting support method, which present encode parameter values to be set in accordance with a user environment. <P>SOLUTION: An encode parameter setting support device 10 includes: a user environment information acquisition part 110 which acquires user environment information; an encode parameter setting part 120 which generates a combination of encode parameters and encode parameter setting information; an encoding execution part 130 which encodes video data on the basis of the encode parameter setting information; an encoding result management part 140 which evaluates quality of the encoded video data and stores the user environment information and the encode parameter setting information in association with each other; and an encode information output part 150 which outputs video data identification information identifying the encoded video data, quality evaluation information, and the encode parameter setting information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
