PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method in which a gap between the adjacent stuck fiber-reinforced plastic tapes is measured precisely and to provide a method for producing composite material parts, an inspection apparatus and an apparatus for producing composite material parts. SOLUTION: The inspection method includes the steps of: photographing an image by using a photographing unit 31 fit to a layering head 23 during the time to stick the fiber-reinforced plastic tapes 70 to each other while moving the layering head 23; and calculating the gap between the adjacent stuck fiber-reinforced plastic tapes 70 on the basis of a first component of the movement displacement of the layering head 23 in the optical axis direction of the photographing unit 31 during the time to stick the fiber-reinforced plastic tapes 70 to each other, a second component of the movement displacement in the in-plane direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction and the photographed image.
