PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grass-winding prevention structure for suppressing the winding of grasses, etc., on a rotary shaft during working. SOLUTION: The grass-winding prevention structure has a rotary shaft 15 installed to project in a horizontal direction from a transmission case 10, a rotary drum 20 formed as an approximately cylindrical shape and rotating together with the rotary shaft 15, and a plurality of cutting blades 21 installed at the rotary drum 20, wherein the transmission case 10 is covered with a cover 30 formed into approximately cylindrical shape, the end edge part at the transmission case 10 side of the rotary drum 20 is inserted/installed to have a predetermined gap to the inner circumferential surface of the cover 30, and in the gap part a step part 40 is installed at the rotary drum 20.
