PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal fan and a heat exchanger using the same for protecting a control circuit. SOLUTION: The centrifugal fan includes a motor 22 and an impeller 23 and is covered by a scroll casing 21 having a suction port side plate 21a provided with an outside air suction port, an anti-suction-side side plate 21b, and a scroll plate 21c. A control box 24 which radially projects and stores the control circuit for driving the motor 22 is provided on the scroll plate 21c. The control box 24 is separated from a space for providing the impeller 23. Thus, the control circuit is protected from dusts sucked in the fan and the heat exchanger is downsized.
