PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the housing container of a stick cosmetic where setting work of a helical body and a tray member is easy and the tray member is prevented from being pulled out from the helical body. SOLUTION: The housing container 1 of a stick cosmetic is provided with: the tray member 6 composed of a tray 9 which supports the stick cosmetic 2 and a threaded rod 12 projecting downward from the center of the bottom surface of the tray 9; and the helical body 5 which has a female thread rod 21 to be treaded with the thread 11 of the threaded rod 12 of the tray member 6 formed on an upper inner wall surface thereof. The housing container 1 of the stick cosmetic is composed of: a thread groove opposing the female thread rod 21 of the helical body 5; a rotation preventing piece 13 which is formed integrally with the lower part of the thread 11 of the threaded rod 12 of the tray member 6 and capable of passing through the thread groove of the helical body 5; and a pull-out stoppage prevention means 23 which is formed at the threaded rod 12 of the tray member 6 so as to be integrated with the lower position of the rotation preventing piece 13 and which can be inserted into the thread groove.
