COATING LAMINATE INCLUDING BARRIER COATING LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition which exhibits an increased heat budget and improved ability to withstand chemical corrosion.

SOLUTION: The coating composition includes: a low-emissivity functional coating containing a plurality of metallic coating laminate units and at least one barrier coating layer. Each metallic coating laminate unit includes: a first layer of a dielectric material; a degradation layer of an electromagnetic reflective material; a foundation layer; and a second layer of the dielectric material. The barrier coating layer is arranged between two units of the metallic coating laminate units in the low-emissivity functional coating, thereby forming a surrounded region and the metallic coating laminate unit located outside the surrounded region is exposed to an oxygen. The barrier coating layer is the coating composition which includes at least one of a layer containing a mixture of an aluminum oxide and a silicon oxide.
