PURPOSE: An information processing unit, control method thereof, and recording medium are provided to confirm a web server which supplies the displayed content by displaying a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) on an address bar. CONSTITUTION: A content obtaining unit(301) obtains content corresponding to a predetermined address from a web server. A content display unit(303) displays the content. An address display unit displays the address on a display unit. An obtaining control unit prohibits the content acquisition of the content obtaining unit. A display control unit controls the display of the address.
