PURPOSE:To prevent a heat collector from frosting and consequently ehhance the reliability of a compressor and make the efficient heat collecting operation possible by a method wherein the heat collecting operation is controlled by detecting the temperature of refrigerant at the inlet of the heat collector. CONSTITUTION:When the outside air conditions with the possibility of frosting on a heat collector 4 such as low outside air temperature, no insolation and no wind is established, a sensor 10 detects that the temperature of refrigerant at the inlet of the heat collector has fallen down below the set value in case of turning OFF, and stops the heat collecting operation, resulting in preventing a liquid from going back to a compressor 1 and the deterioration of efficiency due to the lowering of the heat collecting capacity from occurring. When the heat collector 4 and the outside air conditions return to the state allowing to make the heat collecting operation possible after the stop of the heat collecting operation, the sensor 10 detects that the temperature of refrigerant at the inlet of the heat collector exceeds the set value in case of turning ON, and starts the heat collecting operation again. Further, under the outside air conditions, which some insolation or winds exist even when the outside air temperature is low or which have no possibility of frosting, the temperature of refrigerant at the inlet of the heat collector does not fall down to the set temperature in case of turning OFF, resulting in enabling to continue the efficient heat collecting operation. |
