PURPOSE: An object and event management device and method thereof by using a vector-based GIS are provided to supply an intuitive and realistic interface by displaying an electronic map. CONSTITUTION: An object manager(140) generates and manages an object related to geographic information by using vector-based GIS according to the inputted object type. An event processor(120) receives an object related event. A geographic information processor(160) connects the received event with geographical information. The geographic information processor offers the geographic location of an object or an event.
