PURPOSE: A clock detector and a bias current control circuit using the same are provided to minimize the power consumption of an analog circuit by controlling a bias current supplied to the analog circuit. CONSTITUTION: In a clock detector and a bias current control circuit using the same, a time - voltage converter(110) changes the frequency of the input clock into an analog voltage. An ADC(130) converts an analog voltage into a digital code. A time - voltage converter comprises a capacitor(111), a current source(113), a the first switch(115), and a second switch(117) The capacitor is connected between a power supply voltage and a ground voltage. A current source is connected in parallel with the capacitor. The first switch connects the capacitor to the power supply voltage. The second switch connects the capacitor to the current source.
