IGNITION DEVICE FOR A COMBUSTOR FOR A GAS TURBINE ENGINE

PURPOSE: An ignitor of a combustor for a gas-turbine engine is provided to enable a user to use desired fuel since the position of the nozzle tip of a fuel nozzle unit can change from the original position of the case of an ignitor. CONSTITUTION: An ignitor of a combustor for a gas-turbine engine comprises a case(2), a fuel nozzle unit(3), an ignition plug(4), a space ring(5) and a coupling unit(6). The case comprises a space(2a). The mixing of air with fuel gas from the a fuel tank is done in the space. Air is supplied by the pressure difference between the inside and outside of a combustor liner(15). The fuel nozzle unit supplies fuel gas from the fuel tank to the space of the case. The fuel nozzle unit comprises a nozzle tip(3a). The ignition plug is installed on the other side of the case. The space ring is inserted between the case and the fuel nozzle unit. The coupling unit removably fixes the fuel nozzle unit to the case.
