PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging load position monitoring system for a crane and a hanging tool that can safely lift a hanging load by three-dimensionally detecting and monitoring the position of the hanging load. SOLUTION: The hanging load position monitoring system 2 includes a hanging load position detecting means 10 detecting three-dimensional coordinates of the hanging load 4; a radio transmitting means 11 for transmitting the detected result of the three-dimensional coordinates by the hanging load position detecting means 10; and a radio receiving means 12 for receiving the detected result transmitted from the radio transmitting means 11. The hanging load position monitoring system 2 further includes a computing means 50 for computing the attitudes of the hanging load 4 and a boom 6, and a display means 60 for displaying the position and inclination angle of the hanging load 4, the position of a vertical center shaft 3a of a hook block 3, the position of a tip part 6a of the boom 6, the derricking angle of the boom 6, and the revolving angle and revolving center position of a revolving part 7.
