<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor and a method of operating the same. <P>SOLUTION: The image sensor includes a pixel array including a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels includes an optical sensing unit whose voltage-current characteristics changes by the energy of an incident light for generating a sensing current determined by the energy of the incident light, a reset unit which generates a reference current by being activated by a reset signal to reset at least one pixel among the plurality of pixels, and a conversion unit which generates a sensing voltage and a reference voltage by converting the sensing current and the reference current into voltages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
