Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a plasma display panel, which is provided with: a step of releasing air through piping from an electric discharge space formed between a front plate and a rear plate, which are substrates disposed to face each other; a step of introducing a discharge gas into the electric discharge space through gas piping branched from the piping; and a step of recovering the discharge gas left in the piping system.
